kitchen-volunteers-preparing-for-lemon-grass-banquet Currently, most of our opportunities to volunteer are here in the U.S. Some of the ways in which volunteers have helped us are through helping in the office with filing, archiving electronic files, and mailings. Others have helped us by creating and implementing a fundraising effort or consulting in the areas of their expertise, such as marketing or accounting. In efforts to keep the homes in normal rhythms of life, there are rarely opportunities for individuals to volunteer in our homes.

Volunteers have directly benefited our children through developing English curriculum to be used in the homes, providing baseline medical evaluations, assessing home repair and maintenance issues, and planning for future educational and vocational needs of the children.
