Extended Family Partner
Develop a relationship with a Homes of Love child by participating as an Extended Family Partner.
Being an Extended Family Partner (EFP), allows a child who is living in a Home of Love to become a member of your own extended family. This gives you an opportunity to develop a meaningful relationship with the child through letter writing, prayer, and other forms of communication.
As an EFP, you will also support your child's HOL parents in a similar way. The HOL parents provide love and care as the father and mother in your child's home. They need your prayers for wisdom and encouragement as they raise the child and help them prepare for the future. Encouraging faith is a very important aspect of a Homes of Love family environment.
Your Commitment
- Prayer support for your child and their HOL parents.
- Write an annual letter to your child (which we will translate into their native language, if necessary).
- Send photos to your child.
- Consider a financial commitment. The average cost per child is $150 per month. This includes the cost of education, medical needs, housing, food, and a nurturing environment.
Our Commitment
- Provide you a welcome kit with personal information about your HOL child.
- Inform you of prayer requests and progress updates.
- Send you an annual letter and photo from your child (translated into English, if necessary).
- Forward to you any special cards, artwork, etc. that we may receive from your HOL child.
- The opportunity to encourage and build a significant relationship with your child.

Education Sponsor
Develop a relationship with a Homes of Love child by participating as a Education Sponsor.
Being an Education Sponsor allows you to invest in the life of a Homes of Love child by financially supporting his or her education, praying, and writing an optional annual letter. Providing for a child's school fees, tutoring, supplies, and uniforms makes a real difference in his or her future, and your prayers and letters will help further cultivate a child's sense of confidence and self worth.
The average educational cost per child in grades K-12 is $50 per month. College or vocational training costs are $150 per month. (Partial sponsorships for college or vocational training are available for $50 or $100 per month.)

In Zimbabwe more than 1.2 million children have lost a parent; most predominately due to AIDS. In Cambodia 37% of victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation are children. In Vietnam poverty is the major contributing factor to the 1.5 million children abandoned.

Travel
Travel to Cambodia, Vietnam, or Zimbabwe to love on, encourage, and help meet specific needs of HOL children and their families. Friends & Family, prayer, and vision trips are designed to provide an opportunity for you to meet our children.
You can experience firsthand the country and culture in which they live, and expand your understanding of what Homes of Love does.
Trips are also planned to meet specifically identified needs, such as medical and dental evaluations, career planning, training, and updating professional photos and videos.

Pray
Join the Homes of Love prayer team to receive monthly prayer updates, start a prayer group, and/or participate in monthly prayer gatherings. Prayer is an essential part of Homes of Love. We invite you to partner with us in this vital aspect of what we do.
The Homes of Love prayer team meets at the HOL office in Knoxville once each month to pray for current requests and the needs of our children, their families, and our staff. It's a special time to be united with others who share a heart for Homes of Love. This group is open to anyone who would like to participate.

One of the greatest needs we have is to get the word out about what we do, why we exist, and how people can partner with us. You can help us spread the word by hosting an informational meeting in your home.
By inviting your friends and family into your home, we can introduce Homes of Love in a comfortable, easy, and personable environment. Through these meetings we will provide tangible and meaningful ways your guests can enhance the lives of these at-risk children.
We'll provide you with some helps and how-tos to get started, as well as materials to convey this worthwhile message to your guests.
Afterwards, we'll follow up with anyone who wants to get involved. It's that simple!
